Success with VmWare Tools

Hi,
    Just a quick note to say that I was able to get VmWare Tools installed 
and setup to sync time on the Slackware system, though a couple of the 
unnecesary components of it aren't up and running.  The procedure was 
surprisingly easy and required no mucking about with X11.
    Slackware and the PC even stayed synched through Daylight Savings Time 
change this morning, though I hated that, let me tell you, for various 
personal reasons.  Ahh, well.
