getting logwatch forwards

Hello list,
I'm trying to figure out how to forward mail through to my personal mailbox rather than having it stay on the server.
I've got my name aliased as the forward for root, and then I've got my email, (tyler at tysdomain.com) aliased as tyler. so it should forward from root to tyler to tyler at tysdomain.com, but no luck.
Tips would be awesome.
