starting software speech at boot up

Hi,

I have successfully got the module speakup_soft to start at boot-up, but
I can't get speechd-up to start at boot up.
Does anyone know how i can start speechd-up on boot up on debian?
I don't have an init script... So if anyone can tell me the best way of
starting it I would appreciate it.
