Yes, though there is really no need to do that. The last time I used
dosemu, speakup read the screen just fine. The only problem, which
wasn't a big issue for me, was that when the screen scrolled, this
caused speakup to read the whole screen over again, if it was reading
when the screen scrolled. This is tough to describe, maybe someone who
knows what I'm talking about can describe it better.
