Speakupmodified yum not working

You failed because you missed that you need to remove devhelp and yelp.

But, there's more and newer news that obviates the need for
SpeakupModified Firefox. We'll be removing it momentarilly.

Firefox 3 Beta is now being built by Fedora and it looks like it will be there
by default in Fedora 9.

You can get it with a command like the following:

yum --disablerepo='*' --enablerepo=development install firefox.i386

Please note that you cannot use the x86_64 builds of FF3, at least not
with speech. Don't know why--we're investigating.

You may need to satisfy some dependencies by hand. I'm not sure whether
they've correctly specified them all in the rpms yet.

I'm sorry the web site hasn't yet been updated with this news, but I've
been away on holliday.
