Speakup in ubuntu 7.10

Yes, but I know.  I was under the impression that 7.10 has dropped
speakup support.

In Feisty (I'm not sure about 7.10), you can do:

`apt-get install kernel-patch kernel-patch-speakup`

and it does it for you.
