Hello Daniel, Speech Dispatcher can be configured to use ALSA sound
output (which supports software mixing).  The latest SD version uses
ALSA by default.  If you're using an older version, you will need to
modify your /etc/speech-dispatcher/modules/espeak.conf (see the comments
within the file for more information) to use ALSA.
