Hi all.
Does anyone know if it is possible to run a distro off a compressed
ext3/reiserfs/native linux file system?
Along the same lines, does anyone know of anything out there which
would allow for both reading and writing a fat32/vfat file system
compressed by win98 drivespace version 3?
I did find reference in the file systems howto to something called
dmsdos on this, but from what I did see on the web, it was released in
1998, and runs under 2.0.x/2.1.x kernels, no mention of 2.6.x. Also, I
can't find a working download link for it. All the links I did locate
just sit there with lynx saying "making connection to" bla bla.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Greg
