Features after users guide publication

Hello,
I believe that git is just another revision control system, similar to GNU 
Arch,, CVS, and Subversion.  Other than that, never actuallyed it, but 
have heard it discussed in various changelogs for Debian packages, 
especially wen related to upstream sources.
