These two are no longer compatible because trplayer wants an earlier version of libstdc++ that's no longer supported on kernel 2.6.18 and conflicts with several packages when an installation attempt is made. The source of trplayer I downloaded was looking for version 3 of the library but version 6 is what's now in use.
