PCI serial?

Hiya,
I can understand this philosophy, to be sure. The VM does work quite
well for me. I'm even able to emulate serial ports with a fair degree of
usability. I'm not too sure about the performance hit of using a VM vs
using a physical machine, but it doesn't seem that bad. New kernels compile
fine, anyways.
