Cut-and-Paste By Console?

Well, Michael:  Really I was hoping for multiple buffers.  My cut-and-paste of 
text from tty3 should not be erased next time I go to another 
console-and-cut-and-paste.  That's why I suggested an individual--and a global 
cut-and-paste
And yes, lately I am running in to situations where I am in a program--and make 
a mistake, hit backspace--and it says "question mark"  Well some1 told me to 
hit controll h instead of backspace in that case.
