Hi how can I install fedora 6 independentlyy on a new system I am unable to
get the double talk external to speak with the bootable dvd or the rescue
dvd or the bootable iso cd.
The command that I am using is
Text speakup_synth=ltlk
This works with the fedora 3 boot iso.
Thanks in advance.
Corey

FC3 is quite out of date, and you will be much better off using fc6.
With FC6, you have the ability to have yum point to a speakup modified
version of fedora, so that you will no longer have to worry about installing
speakup.
There is also a howto on how to install fedora on the speakup web site that
also is vary good in walking you through the install process.
Good luck, and ask if you have anymore questions.
