odd messages I get in fedora core 6 and subgestion for installation how to

Hi, One subgestion for the installation how to is rather then yum update
-y it should be yum upgrade -y so dependences are also downloaded and
updated.  Yum-updatesd is now the service name that downloads updates and
you do need to configure it in /etc/yum/yum-updatesd.conf if you want it
to install and download everything.  I have been receiving these messages
and I think they are kernel or filesystem related.  Anyone know what this
message means and how to fix it?  I am using the 2.6.19 fedora core 6
latest kernel with speakup.
