I've just released a new version of the eSpeak text to speech synthesizer: http://espeak.sourceforge.net/ If I've broken anything in the release, please let me know :-) I hope it's in time for someone to package and submit to the Ubuntu Edgy repository to replace eSpeak version 1.11 which is currently there.
