Hey there Scott, not sure where to get Viavoice for Linux currently, but 
I do know that there is an awesome utility that connects it with 
Speakup, if we can get our hands on an installable package for viavoice.  
As far as speakup's abilities, it is a console (command line) screen 
reader, but there is Orca that works with the Gnome desktop under 
X-Windows.  I'm trying now to get my Gnome updated, because I'm 
impatient, want to play with Orca and don't want to wait another month 
for Fedora Core 6.  At any rate, I hope that helps and good luck with 
Linux.
