user name password change

The simplest way I think, is to go into that user's $HOME, backup from
there whatever you want to keep, delete that user from the system, and
add the user again.

P.S. when deleting the user, you want to use the -r or -R flag to
userdel, else you'll need to remove that user's $HOME by hand before
adding the user again.
