File Recovery Tools?

Hi All:  Sorry for an off-topic question, but some weeks ago I accidently nuked 
all the contents of my /mnt/e/videos directory.  Right away in fc6 I ran locate 
and saved a list of that morning list of files.  I then un-mounted my e drive.
Can some1 please tell us if there are linux tools handling recovery of v fat 
fat 32 windows 95 or 98.  I am only running the machine in linux.  Completely 
got rid of windows around 11-days ago.
Otherwise, what about recovery tools in DosEmu?
