Very shortly after someone hears the post test beep is when to hit f5 then 3 then enter, sometimes even before the post test beep depending on how fast a system you run. Feeling the cd case as the computer boots up a vibration in the case will start shortly before the post test beep and maybe using that as a timing mark for 3 to 5 seconds after may help.
