Serial console Instructions?

I haven't used the serial console for a long time, but if you want to
do it via passing parameters to the kernel, so that it starts from
boot, I believe you'd do something like:
con=ttyS0,9600
which would give you a console on the first serial port at 9600
baud. I do stand to be corrected on that, so do have a look at the
list of boot parameters which should reside somewhere under
linux/Documentation in the kernel sources.
As for setting things up on hyperterm, just match up the baud rates,
leave everything else as is, and you should be fine I think.
