Questions about speech dispatcher 0.5

Dear list,
I downloaded speakup modified fedora core 3 and planning to enable
speakup using software synth. As per instructions I downloaded
speechdispatcher 0.5 from the site www.freebsoft.org.Apart from speech
dispatcher 0.5 package  I also found speech-dispatcher-0.5-rc1
speech-dispatcher-0.5-rc2 andspeech-dispatcher-0.5-rc3.
Now my questions are:
1. Do I need to install all these packages namely
speech-dispatcher-0.5-rc1, speech-dispatcher-0.5-rc2 and
speech-dispatcher-0.5-rc3?
2. what is the use of these packages I mentioned in question 1?
