Hi.
All my mail besides my inbox that is, is stored in $HOME/Mail with a
capital M for Mail. Under that I have my mail files which are the mail
folders as mutt sees them. This of course assumes you are using mbox
which is the default. In any case to keep my send-mail from getting too
big what I use is the following.
record=$HOME/Mail/sent-mail-`date +%Y-%m`
What this does is change the sent-mail file each month. So for this
month all my sent-mail which is controlled as you can see by the record
set command is going to a folder called:
sent-mail-2006-03
Next month the 03 will change to 04.
