Well, I only used Apple's screen reader as an example of what should be
done, unless of course everyone who makes screen readers wants to go
open source, which is of course ideal, but not unfortunately the way
things are. I'm not saying Apple's screen reader is by any means
perfect, but it makes a good case for OS programmers to build their own
screen readers and mainstream manufacturers to make their devices blind
friendly without any increased cost to the consumer.
