screen reading software for mobiles and PDAs

Are there many of the above products available? Would appreciate a list. I must admit I didn't know of them until I listened to LARRY SKUTCHAN's podcast with Janina Sajka.

What is the general feeling, should one invest in a commercial product with screen reading software module although the accessibility for VIP may not be quite as good as a product which is developed from ground up with VIP in mind.
