Speakup and bitlbee

Hello all.

I am using speakup and oralux distribution.

I have MSN, ICQ, Yahoo and aim accounts. In Oralux mailing list tealked 
abouth bitlbee for connect.

I conect using irc im.bitlbee.org and register me.

I receive messages normally, but when I am in other console, speakup no 
read new messages automatically, and a irc client no play sound for a 
new message notification.

How can I to solv the problem?
