Problems attempting to set up Speakup with a DECtalk PC2.

Just tried the firmware shipped with speakup from a cold boot, and it 
doesn't get nearly as far. It only attempts to load the kernel, then 
exists printing a status -3 message, (I think -3 is correct.) So it is 
not always working.
