I changed my espeak-generic.conf as follows:
GenericVolumeAdd 100
The value used to be 10. Also change the GenericVolumeMultiply line in
the same way, since it was originally 10 as well. This produces the
same results as using the original configuration with eSpeak 1.10. I
think there was a change in the volume range in eSpeak 1.11. I
believe it used to go from 0 to 20 and now it goes from 0 to 200, hence
the changes.
