Sandisk E140 and Linux

Hey I'm using a Sandisk E140 to store media files on it.  I do have a
strange deal however.  The device has on-board memory (1gb) and an
expansion slot for SD memory (I presently have 1gb installed).  So In
Windows, each memory segment appears as separate drives.  Problem is,
Linux only sees the main memory; it does not see the expansion memory at
all.  When I do a 'cd -scanbus', I see the Sandisk device listed and I
can mount it as usual on /dev/sda1 but no other devices are listed.  I
don't see any other scsi drives listed other than /dev/sda so from what
I've seen so far, I cannot access the memory card via Linux.  When I do
it in Windows, I see both drives in windows explorer.  I should note
that I do not install any special drivers or any of that when I use it
under Windows.

Does anyone on here have any experience with this or other similar
devices with multiple memory segments?
