editing a subject line (was: modifying thread subject)

As far as I know, it's a simple edit of the subject line.  See this
message as an 3xample of this.  I simply put my new subject at the
beginning of the subject line and put parentheses around the previous
subject adding "was: " just inside the opening parenthesis.
