Speech-Dispatcher Config Files

On Debian, speech-dispatcher uses /etc/speech-dispatcher for its
configuration files.  However, if you are compiling it yourself, it may
be putting them in /usr/local/etc/speech-dispatcher or some other
out-of-the-way place.  You may wish to use sysconfdir so that you can be
sure that the files are in /etc/speech-dispatcher or some other more
familiar or memorable place.
