going dsl

hi all,
i am finally going dsl.
from everything i have read they say
that sbc works great in linux
once you get it installed in windows.
the register site https://sbcreg.global.net
does not work with any of my browsers
so i will get a friend to help me in windows
any ideas are welcome
i have figured out pppoe-setup
so that is no problem.
anyway i will let you know how it goes.
