MPlayer and flac

Hi all. I'm trying to play a flac file, however it outputs the following and then crashes:
flag = 0, type = 0, size = 0
[flac @ 0x85ff3c0] metadata block: flag = 0, type = 0, size = 6400
mplayer: flac.c:210: allocate_buffers: Assertion `s->max_blocksize' failed.


MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: init_audio_codec

I'm currently using MPlayer-1.0pre7. Anyone have any idea as to why something like that might happen? I upgraded to the latest Flac source and that didn't seem to fix it either. Thanks!
