Hi Greg. There's a package located at http://www.fs-driver.org that will do what you describe. However 2 problems with it that I found while using it. Whenever the driver so much as reads from
the filesystem, the Fs is left in an inconsistant state afterwords, requiring an fsck on the next reboot. The other problem I found, and this is more an ethical one, is that it doesn't seem
to be open source to my knowledge.
