elinks and spider monkey

Hi gang,

A few weeks ago I installed elinks from source after installing the 
spidermonkey smjs javascript package. Now a routine upgrade has upgraded 
the spider monkey libraries. My question is: Must I now recompile 
elinks? I suppose it wouldn't hurt to do so, but I am curious to know if 
it is necessary.
