confused about debian and apache

Ok, sorry for wasting bandwidth by posting, and then answering my own
question. I've got apache-ssl talking on port 80, and though
apache-sslctl configtest reports no problems, I won't know how the ssl
config went until this machine gets completed, and gets placed
on-line for real. I can telnet to port 443 from other machines though,
so that's a good sign.
