Installing Debian

Hello Speakup,

  In case I have to redo my system, where is the best place to get the
   Debian install cd's and what is the best method of installation? I
   am now at the point of trying to recompile my kernel. It is having
   trouble because it insists on mounting HDA2 as read only.
