Hello All,
Running Debian Sarge here and have kernel 2.4.28. I got a new IEE1394 card
and wanted to upgrade to 2.6.
I got the latest version of the cvs checkout script and the sourcetree from
us.kernel.org
of linux 2.6.13.
I extracted the tarball and created the symbolic link to the linux-2.6.13
directory.
then I did the checkout script and waited for the speakup cvs version to
patch in.
then I did a make bzImage
and it failed with the following
CC drivers/char/speakup/speakup.o
drivers/char/speakup/speakup.c: In
function `speakup_bits':
drivers/char/speakup/speakup.c:2152: error:
`pb_edit' undeclared (first use in this
function)
drivers/char/speakup/speakup.c:2152: error: (Each undeclared
identifier is reported only once
drivers/char/speakup/speakup.c:2152:
error: for each function it appears
in.)
drivers/char/speakup/speakup.c:2155: error: `edit_bits' undeclared
(first use in this function)
