Speakup or dectalk, and the answer?

Hi, well I thought we were talking about changing settings in the bios.
If so the bios as I said does call these devices com x.   
My list of devices on this board show com 1 enabled.  So telling some
one to enable ttys0 in the bios would be wrong.  There is no such device
in the bios.

I didn't mean you. I understand you are new, so would expect you to use
terms you know.

However, others have responded and have not enlightened you as to the
correct Linux term--until today. That did not seem appropriate to me.

It's fine that we can translate terms among the various environments.
But, we should learn the environment specific terms for Linux, if we're
talking Linux. So, now you know.
