Speakup or dectalk, and the answer?

Hi, 
Well when you look at the bios witch is what they were talking about the
bios offten erfairs to the ports as com 1 2 lpt 1 etc.  So when he is
talking about making bios changes we had better refer to the changes as
the bios refairs to them.  There is no tty0 etc.  Just like in the bios
there is no lp port.

What's with all this "com1" talk on this list. I don't believe there is
such a thing on Linux. Or, has Microsoft taken over here too?
