FC3, problem with grub after yum update?

Look a little further down in the grub conf file. You have a list of kernels
and/or operating systems to build. The first one which appears is the first one
which will boot. Set default to 0 and place your windows lines first if you
wish to build windows by default.

Subject: FC3, problem with grub after yum update?

Hi all,

I am currently running a dual boot system with Fedora FC3 and Windows XP pro on
an NTFS partition.

After I initially installed linux, I wanted to have windows boot by default, so
I modified the /etc/grub.conf and set default=1. This worked fine until I did
my first yum update.
After the update, I noticed that by default, the system was again booting Linux.
I checked the grub.conf and noticed that it had reverted to default=0. I
changed it back to default=1; However it no longer seems to be honoring that
parameter, as it still boots Linux by default.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this would be much appreciated.

TIA,

--Al
