First boot command error

Hello all,
When do the command
/sbin/chkconfig --level 2345 firstboot off, I get the error
 
"Cannot read information from service firstboot"
I am invoking this command to get speakup to work after installing Fedora.
 
FYI, I am using installation ISOs from late December. If this is an error that has been resolved in the latest ISO, then, I will just get the newest one's.
