Hi all,

I am having the following problem when using the dcd cd player program. Whenever I use a command, such as dcd i, while the disc is playing, dcd skips forward a few seconds in the CD. This makes it kind of hard to pause the disk (dcd p) since it will end up unpausing a few seconds ahead of itself. Normally, this wouldn't be much of a problem, but I'm reading the new Harry Potter book with it.

If there's another good CD player program (not workbone or mplayer), I'd appreciate any recommendations. The reason I say mplayer is that mplayer, instead of extracting the raw audio from the disc, it actually rips the audio into pcm and passes it to the mplayer filters. Talk about inefficient! Well at least you all know now why it is all skippy and stuff when you try to use mplayer to play CD audio.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Garrett
