console version of gaim?

Hello all, everyone nos what Gaim is. multiple instant message services
in one client. Anyway, i'm lookin for a console version of it. after i
heard this guy talking about it, at 4:00 in the morning. I've done a
google search and haven't found anything. anyone no anything about
this?
