I also read the Mid Atlantic Linux list where there are other Verizon
DSL subscribers who have succeeded configuring these connections. You
need to specify xdsl somewhere, but I'm not sure where.
You might want to google on this. I'd suggest a search string like:
"Verizon DSL" linux
