I am currently using Armangil's Podcatcher:

http://podcatcher.rubyforge.org

I put it in my crontab and have it download 4 times a day.

The catch is that the subscription is an OPML file that needs to be specified on
the command line. I simply edited the OPML file I found on

http://www.techpodcasts.com

and it works great for me so far.

Somebody let me know if you have had any better luck with any other podcast
downloaders.
