Hi all.

In speakup 2.0, when moving by word, speakup says "left" or "right"
when a line boundary is crossed, in addition to beeping the pc
speaker. Is it possible to turn this off somewhere in /proc/speakup,
so that speakup reverts to the pre 2.0 behavior of simply beeping the
pc speaker without saying "left" and "right"? Thanks in advance.

Greg
