Hi all.

I just upgraded my slackware 10.1 system to linux 2.6.11.7, and am
getting used to it. I do however have a few questions that I hope
someone can answer.

1. Some lines in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules still refer to /proc/ksyms,
which doesn't seem to be in the 2.6 kernel anymore. Are there any substitutes
for that?

2. /proc/bus/usb cannot be mounted, due to lack of usbdevfs, which
doesn't seem to exist anymore. Should I remove that line from my
/etc/fstab, or am I missing something?

One of the new configuration options is if /proc/kcore should be
enabled, but there is no help for it. What is that for, and do I need
it?

Thanks for any answers in advance. Also, the right alt key seems not
to work anymore. I suspect this is speakup-related, am I right?

Greg
