I think wen you own your own IRC network, you try to promote any way you 
can.  anyway, for anyone who cares, it's up now.  ANd remember, go to 
http://wwircnet.andrelouis.com and choose the server closest to your 
geographic location.

Why not create it on freenode? That is where a lot of other open source
project channels are.
