dvorac is how typewriters first mapped out their keyboard.  I don't remember the
layout exactly, the idea is you have commonly used letters placed close
together.

Because of trained muscle memory and experience using those pathways in
the brain.

I do agree it's pretty OT, but it is interesting from a cognative
psychology and human computer interaction point of view.

Well, it's probably quite OT, but I don't see how using experienced
typists discredits anything. I should think it's the other way around.
