It appears that the bug that has been discussed on this list with dectalk
reading words with embeded numbers next to a letter
is a Dectalk bug itself, but speakup seems to be triggering it.
I haven't had it in a day of playing with asap, but speakup gets it all the
time.

The bug with speakup not speaking apostrophees correctly is a speakup bug.
from what little
i've tried to hack on this, their is something going on
with punctuation spacific handling for the dectalk in speakup.c.
i'm not even going to try to guess what it does, since i'll probably get it
all
wrong.
